I know, isn't it great? I don't know from whence it came for sure, but my guess it was taken somewhere in California in the 1970s. Thanks as always, Holly.
It's Portland during the ash falls from Mt. St. Helens, so 1980 or 81. Most folks wore facemasks to prevent breathing in the fine silica ash.
